We are excited to be offering farm & garden consults.
Folks reach out to us often with questions about starting their home garden, or inquiring about steps to start a small farming operation. We decided to make ourselves available for a certain number of gardening and farm related consults per year in person in Maui, Hawai’i and also virtually.
Do you have a vision for a home garden or small scale farming operation but don’t quite know where to start?
Let’s face it, starting a new project of any kind can be intimidating.
We’ve been there. There are plenty of resources to tap into when just starting out, but if you’re the type of person who learns in a hands on fashion, or desires to discuss your vision with farmers who have many years of both gardening and farming experience, we’re here for you!
What you’ll receive
First, we’ll set up a free 15 minute call to discuss what your goals are and how we might be able to help you move forward with your project vision.
Once we feel like it’s a good fit, if you live on Maui, we will set up an in person 1 hour session with you to walk the property and help determine what your next steps will be. If you don’t live on Maui, we will set up a virtual session where we will go through the same steps but work with photos or videos that you send us.
If you’d like to schedule future sessions, we can make that happen to support you throughout the next phases of your project.

Co-creatively develop a plan of action to get started breaking ground and building your soil health.
Directional support on what grows well in various Maui climates
Problem solving where you have felt stuck or didn’t have success growing certain crops
Helping you figure out the best way to compost, fertilize, add amendments and other micronutrients for your specific soil
Supporting you to figure out how to start seedlings, and what does best direct seeded vs transplanting.
Problem solving and preventative pest and disease management while growing organically
How you could optimize your space to grow the most food/fruit/flowers that you desire
